Come along and hear about our plans for Stansfeld Park

The Oxford Trust will be hosting a public meeting on Thursday 13th October 2016 to discuss its plans for a new science education centre and innovation centre at the site in Headington, with designs available to review and members of the project team on hand to talk about the development.

The Trust submitted plans to Oxford City Council last week.

Public meeting schedule:

6pm – Doors open

6-7pm – View the designs, meet the project team, refreshments

7pm – 7.15pm – Project overview from CEO and Director of Education & Engagement

7.15 – 7.45pm – Community Q&A

8pm – END

Stansfeld Park will be home to the UK’s first purpose-built science education centre for primary-aged children. It will also include the Wood Centre for Innovation – a new innovation centre that will provide much needed office space for local science and innovation grow-on companies. The surrounding 18-acre woodland, café and theatre that are also part of the planned site will be available for the local community to use.

We held a community consultation in May 2016 on the rejuvenation of the Stansfeld site and, based on feedback, have revised our plans to accommodate concerns on the initial plans that were presented.

All are welcome.
