Help us create a new science education centre at Stansfeld Park for Oxford and the region to inspire the next generation of scientists and innovators.
We are developing the UK’s first indoor-outdoor science education centre dedicated to primary-aged children – with an interactive gallery, teaching spaces, outdoor learning zones, theatre and an urban wild space for exploration and investigation. The centre will cost in the region of £3.75 million. We already have £1.25 million committed to the project but we need to raise a further £2.5 million.
We are looking for people to help us build a centre of excellence that Oxfordshire and the region can be proud of. It will mean thousands of children will have the opportunity to experience stimulating hands-on science – indoors and out. The new centre will help children, their teachers and families develop a more positive attitude towards science and lay important foundations for science learning. We will show children that science can be cool, can lead to an amazing career and can change lives for the better. Stansfeld Park is all about investing in and supporting future generations of scientists and innovators; critical to maintaining our place as an area right at the forefront of research and innovation.
The next generation of scientists and innovators depends on your support.
