Support Us

Help us create a new science education centre at Stansfeld Park for Oxfordshire and the region to inspire the next generation of scientists and innovators.

We want to develop the UK’s first indoor-outdoor science education centre dedicated to primary-aged children – with an interactive gallery, teaching spaces, outdoor learning zones, theatre and an urban wild space for exploration and investigation. The centre will cost in the region of £3.5 million. We already have £1.25 million committed to the project but we need to raise a further £2.25 million.

We are looking for Founding Patrons and Lead Partners to help us build a centre of excellence that Oxfordshire and the region can be proud of. It will mean thousands of children will have the opportunity to experience stimulating hands-on science – indoors and out. The centre will help cultivate a more positive attitude towards science and lay the important foundations for science learning. We will show children that science can be cool, can lead to an amazing career and can change lives. Stansfeld Park is all about investing and supporting future generations of scientists and innovators, which is critical to maintaining the county’s position at the forefront of research and innovation.

The next generation of scientists and innovators depends on your support.

Founding Patrons

Founding Patrons are a small group of committed individuals who have donated funds to kick-start our fundraising campaign and help us realise our vision.

Lead Partners

A significant donation from a Lead Partner will secure the naming rights of the science education centre itself, marking the donor’s commitment to education as a crucial part of the Oxfordshire science and innovation ecosystem. Donations from partners can also fund other areas of the centre too, including the Science Discovery Zone, Theatre, Atrium, Livelab and Learning Space.

If you are able to become a Founding Patron, a Lead Partner or generally champion our project, please contact Paul Dryden:
