Young entrepreneurs – we need you!

June 12, 2018

With just a week to go until the closing date, entries to our Enterprise Awards are coming in from innovation businesses across the region. Competition is high for the Barclays Innovation Award but we are still looking for more applications to the Triteq Young Entrepreneur Award, which recognises and celebrates the founder/s (under 40) of innovative science and tech companies in Oxfordshire. The winner of last year’s award was Travis Wentworth, who set up Langu – a virtual language platform that connects students with teachers.

Our panel of judges, which includes the Chair of Venturefest and the Relationship Director of Barclays Oxfordshire Business Team, will assess applications on criteria such as product, current funding status and business strategy.

The prize includes £1000 and an engraved glass award, which will be presented by the category sponsor Triteq.  The three short-listed entrepreneurs will get invited to the networking drinks reception before the awards on Wednesday 12 September and also have free tickets to Venturefest Oxford on the same day.

We know that it often takes a lot of time to apply for business awards so we’ve made the application process really simple. For more information and to apply, go to:
