The Oxford Trust aims to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers and innovators through its Science Oxford Schools programme.
Science Oxford creates and delivers innovative education programmes that enrich the primary and secondary curricula in schools.
Every year, across the region, Science Oxford (SO) deliver schools outreach to between 15-20,000 pupils in over 200 schools. Over 100 primary schools participate in SO’s BIG Science Event annually and 40 secondary schools participate in theYoung Scientists of the Year awards.
Science Oxford works in partnership with like-minded organisations who share our mission and objectives.
For example Oxford City Council, Oxford County Council, OxLEP, Oxford Brookes University, Oxford University, Playforce, GE, Diamond, RAL, Raintree Publishing, Bucks Learning Trust.
Science Oxford provides a comprehensive package of support for teachers of STEM subjects to enable them to inspire their pupils. It provides CPD training for around 300 every year.
Science Oxford provides information, guidance and experience for 13-19 year-olds through its STEM World of Work programme, to support them in making informed decisions about careers in STEM.
