Engagement
The Oxford Trust engages with the wider public through its Science Oxford LIVE programme
Through Science Oxford Live, the Trust encourages people of all ages to engage with how scientific research and discoveries impact on us and the world around us through interactive activities for families and informative and thought-provoking events for adults.
Science Oxford runs Saturday Science Clubs, holiday science clubs and a year-round LIVE programme for adults. It reaches some 5000-7000 adults and children every year through the SO LIVE programme.
Science Oxford works in partnership with like-minded organisations who share our mission and objectives.
For example Abingdon Science Partnership, CRUK, Oxfordshire Science Festival, Henmans Freeth, Story Museum, Oxford Playhouse, Old Fire Station, Pegasus, Oxford Brookes University, Oxford University – MPLS.
Through Science Oxford LIVE’s SO Talented programme, it trains and supports scientists interested in science ‘performance’ activities.
