The Oxfordshire Business Awards (OXBA) Emerging Tech Business Award, co-sponsored by The Oxford Trust, celebrates a new Oxfordshire technology start-up with strong potential to scale, pairing a solid product with a well-researched go-to-market strategy.
Winners TerraChange Solar’s ground breaking work in organic photovoltaics is pushing the boundaries of clean energy innovation. By developing next-generation solar materials for use in greenhouses, glass buildings and facades, they are helping make solar cleaner, more affordable, and accessible.
The Emerging Tech Business Award remains a highlight of OXBA, because of its power to shine a spotlight on early-stage innovators like TerraChange Solar.
Runners up included:
Super Benji– harnessing the power of AI for sales leaders, transforming how teams engage, strategise, and succeed. The business was born from a simple idea—to automate parts of the sales process. Founder Jeremy Basset saw his sales team struggling with outward bound sales. He built Super Benji to utilise technology and to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
New Road – creators of a cutting-edge organic supplement for those who want to live well, naturally. It is a high-integrity, whole-food supplement designed to support gut health through plant diversity. Developed in collaboration with leading scientists from Oxford University, INRAE Paris and Queen’s University Belfast, it contains 30 organic fruits, vegetables and pulses—freeze-dried to retain nutritional value.
A special thank you goes to our co-sponsors iMed Consultancy Ltd, Barclays Eagle Labs and Oxford Innovation, whose support made this award possible.
