As a Science Oxford Centre Officer in the Education and Engagement team, Katedelivers workshops, theatre shows and other activities across the site. She helps develop new content and activities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy and be involved in.
Kate has a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management from Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA). Before focusing on science communication, she worked in the zoological industry, providing animal husbandry to a variety of species whilst educating guests about the importance of zoos, sustainability and global conservation.
Kate is excited to continue to engage people through the “Thinking, Doing, Talking” education ethos at Science Oxford, showing everyone that science can be for them, no matter who they are.
