Lucinda oversees Science Oxford’s STEM education and public engagement programmes for schools and families. As a member of The Oxford Trust’s Senior Leadership Team, she manages and develops a team of science communicators, contributes to programme strategy, builds partnerships, and ensures the Trust’s work is innovative, inclusive and informed by evidence and best practice.
An international space science educator, outreach leader and Mars analogue researcher, Lucinda has more than 20 years’ experience connecting people with astronomy, geophysics and planetary exploration. She completed her undergraduate studies in California and pursued graduate and further qualifications in Scotland and England, spanning science communication, astronomy, geology, art and design, and secondary education.
Lucinda is excited by work that bridges science, design and public engagement, rooted in a lifelong commitment to creating learning experiences that change how people see themselves and the world.
