As STEM Careers Lead, Ronnie develops and delivers Science Oxford’s STEM Careers Programmes, aimed at secondary school students. He works with local companies and stakeholders that bring in their expertise to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers and innovators to equip them with the skills and insights needed for successful STEM careers.
Ronnie holds an Masters’ Degree in Earth Science from the University of St Andrews and studied for a DPhil in Earth Science from the University of Oxford. Throughout his time in academia, he led a range of science outreach and education initiatives designed to engage primary and secondary school pupils, and taught undergraduate students in geology. Ronnie has held a diverse array of roles in his career, working in agriculture, renewable energy and science communication.
He brings this experience with him to his current mission: using STEM education as a powerful tool to ignite curiosity, build confidence, and open opportunities for young learners to pursue STEM careers.
