STEM Careers Lead

The Oxford Trust is looking for a teacher or STEM professional with a passion for inspiring the next generation about STEM careers and raising aspirations to shape and lead a reimagined Science Oxford STEM Careers Programme as the STEM Careers Lead.
Pivotal to the role will be the ability to confidently redesign the education and engagement programmes for secondary-aged students (aged 11-18), with support from the Director of Education and Engagement and the Head of Education. It will involve confidently networking and building strong links with a range of stakeholders including school staff, local STEM businesses, as well as regional and national STEM organisations.
The job would suit an individual with a teacher qualification or relevant STEM engagement or science communication expertise and a track record of leading sessions with secondary-aged students. The role will require a level of autonomy and the ability to work independently, as well as part of the wider team.
