The Wood Centre for Innovation has a selection of class 2 R&D lab spaces that are perfect for businesses specialising in life science and deeptech. The lab spaces are of high quality, fitted out for research and scientific application, plus a shared facilities lab with common equipment and specialist microscopy use run by an in-house lab supervisor. Our sector-specific business support options and dedicated centre team are on hand every step of the way, allowing you to focus on reaching your goals. Unlike other innovation centres, our flexible licence or lease agreement gives you reasonable notice period.

Our sister centre

Oxford Centre for Innovation

Our sister centre, the Oxford Centre for Innovation, is based at Blue Boar Court on Alfred Street in central Oxford. The centre also has affordable work and meeting spaces for start-up and early stage companies specialising in science and technology, close to the University of Oxford’s science facilities, the Said Business School and social entrepreneurship centres. Facilities at our city centre site are available to all companies working in our centres.
