A partnership for success
Set up in partnership with The Oxford Trust, Barclays Eagle Labs Oxford is focused on supporting science and tech start-ups, spinout scientists, university graduates and entrepreneurs. The science and tech focus is to help the UK define areas of real competitive advantage on the global stage by focusing on industries of the future. The aim is to create a growth pathway so that businesses that graduate from Barclays Eagle Labs can easily move into office space, R&D labs in the Trust’s innovation centres.
A wealth of business support
Barclays Eagle Labs provides a wealth of support for entrepreneurs and start-up business. An Ecosystem Manager and a dedicated Lab Manager provide technical expertise, mentoring and connections to help science and technology businesses get started. If you join, you will also get access to the wider Eagle Lab support proposition. Barclays local business teams and specialist high-growth managers are also available to provide banking support to companies and entrepreneurs to maximise and accelerate their growth. Businesses can also access Barclays Demo Directory that matches founders with investors.

Our sister centre
Wood Centre for Innovation
Our sister centre, the Wood Centre for Innovation, is surrounded by 15 acres of woodland and ponds, right in the heart of the Headington Science Cluster. The centre has affordable lab, work and meeting spaces for start-up and grow-on companies specialising in science and technology and is in easy reach of the University of Oxford’s Old Road Campus, clinical research facilities at the local hospitals and Oxford Brookes University. Facilities at our Headington site are available to all companies working in our centres.
