Barclays Eagle Lab at our Centres

Set up in partnership with The Oxford Trust, Eagle Labs Oxford is focused on science and tech start-ups aimed at supporting spinout scientists, university graduates and entrepreneurs. The science and tech focus is to help the UK define areas of real competitive advantage on the global stage through its emphasis on industries of the future.

Eagle Labs is a growing network of 25 incubator spaces across the UK. By providing co-working space, cultivating a community of like-minded entrepreneurs and business support, Eagle Labs aim to maximise growth of early stage start-ups..

The Eagle Lab at the Wood Centre for Innovation has space for up to 40 entrepreneurs while offering the use of onsite facilities, including 28 permanent and 12 hot desks. The Oxford Centre for Innovation Eagle Lab can accommodate up to 12 entrepreneurs, subject to availability.

An Ecosystem Manager and a dedicated Lab Manager provide technical expertise, mentoring and connections to help science and technology businesses flourish for those using the space. Residents will also get access to the wider Eagle Lab support proposition. Barclays local business banking teams and specialist high-growth managers are also available to provide banking support to companies and entrepreneurs to help them maximise and accelerate their growth. Companies that ‘graduate’ from the Eagle Labs can easily move on to space in our centres, whether it’s office space or R&D labs or a combination of both, and benefit from continued business support from Oxford Innovation. Businesses that join us also have access to meeting and conference facilities, a café, tailored events, workshops, and growth programmes, As companies grow, we’re with you all the way!
