Linden and Aspen Buildings

The Linden and Aspen Buildings form the two “wings” of the Wood Centre for Innovation in Headington, offering office space, R&D labs, technical workspace, co-working and a virtual office facility. The Wood Centre for Innovation is currently home to ten science and tech start-ups.

Aspen Building

Available to lease or licence, the Aspen Building provides 17,000 sq ft, over two floors, of flexible laboratory, technical workspace and office accommodation for start-ups in the deep tech, health tech and life science sectors.

Interior spaces can be configured to suit individual client requirements, with scope for tailored layouts and bespoke laboratory and office fit outs. The east side of the building is designated for bioscience use, while the west side is designed to accommodate chemistry requirements with direct vent capability.

Linden Building

The Linden Building offers all-inclusive leased and licensed offices and Class II R&D labs to suit life science, health tech and deep tech companies. Admin and business support come as standard. There is also a shared facilities lab with key equipment such as an ice machine, liquid nitrogren, and access to a lab supervisor.

Barclays Eagle Labs are based in the Linden Building and provide co-working space, business support, mentoring and networking events.

Our sister centre

Oxford Centre for Innovation

Our sister centre, the Oxford Centre for Innovation, is based at Blue Boar Court on Alfred Street in central Oxford. The centre also has affordable work and meeting spaces for start-up and early stage companies specialising in science and technology, close to the University of Oxford’s science facilities, the Said Business School and social entrepreneurship centres. Facilities at our city centre site are available to all companies working in our centres.
