I joined The Oxford Trust as a Café Assistant in 2022. I love my work here, serving delicious food and interacting with all the kind, friendly people in the Wood Centre for Innovation, who always express such wonderful appreciation for our food and what we do in the café, no matter their position – from the CEOs of the amazing companies in the building, to scientists, to operations and support teams. The team at The Oxford Trust have been wonderful to work with and have helped me quickly become comfortable and confident in my work.

I am originally from Albania, and have been in the UK since 2015. I am happy to be here and value all the opportunities there are. I have two young children and I appreciate that, with my work in the café, I am able to spend time with them after school. I have a master’s degree in history, and have an ambition to develop in teaching, so seeing what the Science Oxford do in STEM education is especially exciting for me.
