Exit Right 2023 starts 25th May

April 24, 2023

(This series of events has ended, but you can watch the recordings here)

Following on from the successful 2022 Exit Right events, The Oxford Trust, Barclays Eagle Labs and Oxford Innovation Space are running Exit Right 2023. This year’s talks are from founders and directors who have successfully exited their businesses as well as M&A experts. The series is sponsored by Marks & Clerk.

Founders will tell you first hand about their exit journey – what went well and what didn’t go quite so well. You will find out the best strategies to employ and what it takes to be one of the successful 10% of businesses that exit – whether it’s through an acquisition or IPO. The line up of speakers includes some names you might recognise: David Llewellyn (Co-Founder of DJS Antibodies) and Matt Brown (Quorbit) based at the Wood Centre for Innovation; and Andrew Luers (Habitat Energy) from the Oxford Centre for Innovation.

We also have M&A experts who will give you the inside track on what purchasers are really looking for when they are buying companies.

The events are aimed at founders, directors and senior management of start-ups and SMEs. Each talk is 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session.

For those who want to meet the speakers, events will be held at our Wood Centre for Innovation in Headington. Each event will be followed by drinks and networking at the Centre. The event series starts on Thursday 25th May and will run every two weeks. Start time is 17.30 – at the end of the working day – and only last an hour. Events will also be livestreamed.
