Help rejuvenate our woodland at Stansfeld Park
We are lucky to have a wonderful 15-acre woodland at the Science Oxford Centre at Stansfeld Park in Headington. It comprises several large ponds, woods and grassland and is home to a variety of wildlife. We are working with the Oxford Conservation Volunteers (OCV) to improve and enhance the woodland so that it can be enjoyed by all our visitors and the resident wildlife. We welcome anyone interested in gardening, conservation, woodland management or just the great outdoors to get in touch – you could join one of our special public Conservation Days that we run throughout the year.

Support our events and workshops
We run a wide range of events for the general public throughout the year, from shows and workshops for young people to talks and even film nights for adults. Our volunteers support these events by helping to get set-up, welcoming attendees, running refreshment stands and clearing up at the end of the night. In return, we offer free tickets to other events in our programme.
